After reading the Quick start guide Viable Tiles we now can go on a deep dive using the Viable Tile macro.
Using Viable Tiles for Confluence
Add the Viable Tile macro to a Confluence page. Please follow the instructions of Atlassian's official documentation for macros (Confluence 7.6).
The Viable Tile macro allows a user to make use of the given space and show a clickable tile. When displayed within grids, a user can make use of the given space and show several tiles in one row. Due to their responsive nature the text and icons adjust automatically to the tiles' width and ratio (1:1, 4:3, 16:9).
- In edit mode the macro Viable Tile can be found by using the function "Insert additional content" → "Other macros".
- In the macro parameters, Text, Text Position, Tile Aspect Ratio and Tile Preset can be assigned first. Furthermore an Internal Link or an External Link should be set.
- Optional font size, color, and other related CSS properties can be set in the parameters Tile CSS, Text CSS or Icon CSS.
